What is it used for or what does it do?
Three layer Vapor Barrier and
Under Slab Ground Membrane is a three-layered, virgin low-density polyethylene, incorporating a
high-density polyethylene reinforced grid for superior resistance to water vapor transmission and high
tensile strength.á Lightweight and
therefore very easy to handle, when installing.
It can be used on all six sides of
the building envelope; although itÆs primary use is as an underslab vapor barrier.á A secondary use for the membrane is as a
vapor retarder in singleply roofing assemblies.
á
òá Subgrade sheet dampproofing, vapor barrier
òá Vapor retarder for above grade work, such as wall and
roof assemblies
òá Membrane intended to resist moisture intrusion
òá Subgrade methane gas barrier
òá Sealed membrane joints mean increased moisture and
methane gas resistance
